On a day when all the feels come up for air, my first go to is to check the energy of the day so I know what’s happening in the universe.

My second go to are my Akashic Records so I can connect to my centre and soak up all the love that my Soul is always blasting me with.

Being in the energy of the Records helps my mind slow down and show me that there are universal truths that trump my beliefs and I can navigate my feels more quickly and easily.

The funny thing about emotions is they’re not always 100% accurate about what’s true.

Certainly, they can reflect how we feel about our circumstances but they are not a true reflection of who we are or what we’re capable of.

The universal truth is that I am whole, enough, worthy and divine.

And SO ARE YOU.

The universal truth is that I am always connected to infinite creative potential.

AND SO ARE YOU.

The universal truth is that what I focus on I energize.

AND SO DO YOU.

So, on those days when I feel all the feels, I am extra gentle with myself as I focus my energy.

I don’t push and shove things into place anymore and try to be a hero getting all the things done.

I remember the universal truth about myself by connecting to my Soul Wisdom through the Akashic Records and from this connected, loving place for myself I take actions.

On these days especially, the #1 spot on my to do list is my own energy, self trust and focus.

Period.

Trusting yourself to take care of your own energy is a skill and takes daily practice.
