What These Writing Circles Are
These writing circles are slow grounded creative spaces where women gather to write without pressure to perform, improve, publish or share unless they want to. You are welcome exactly as you are whether you feel full of ideas, blocked, overwhelmed, curious, tender, confident or unsure.
Each circle includes a short grounding practice, a simple writing prompt, time to write in your own way and optional sharing. There is no critique no correction and no fixing. This is not a writing class and it is not therapy. It is a space to meet your own voice with safety support and curiosity.
This is creativity as connection not production.
Online and In Person Writing Circles
Online Writing Circles
These take place on Zoom and are open to women worldwide. You can attend from your home with your camera on or off. These circles are gentle low pressure and designed for sensitive nervous systems. They are especially supportive for women who feel shy, anxious, overwhelmed or easily overstimulated.
In Person Writing Circles in Kelowna and the Okanagan
These circles take place locally and focus on embodied creative expression and community connection. When possible they include nature based settings. These gatherings are small intentional and grounded.

Creativity lives in the body not just the mind. Many women carry years of pressure, shame, self judgment and fear around expression. These circles are structured to support nervous system safety so that creativity can unfold without force.
You are not pushed to be brave. You are supported to feel safe.
A Note on Womb Wisdom and Feminine Creativity
Creativity and self expression are deeply connected to the body and especially to the womb space, whether physical, symbolic or energetic.
Many women are reclaiming this connection as part of the wider return of sacred feminine wisdom.
These circles honor creative power that does not hustle, apologize or shrink.
Creativity here is not something to earn. It is something you already are.

Do I need to be a writer to join
No. These circles welcome women at any stage of relationship with writing including those who feel blocked disconnected or unsure.
Do I have to share what I write
No. Sharing is always optional. You are welcome to write only for yourself.
Is this a therapy group?
No. These are not therapy sessions. They are creative community spaces. Emotional material can arise and you are always responsible for your own care.
What if I feel emotional during a circle
You are welcome to step away, pause, breathe or simply stay with what is present. You are never required to explain yourself. Kasia is trained in somatic support and holds space for whatever arises for you.
Are these circles trauma informed
Yes. The structure and facilitation are designed to be nervous system aware and non intrusive.
How many times do I attend?
You are welcome to attend one circle or many.
