Why I Began Hosting Womb Circles and Listening to Womb Wisdom
This reflection is for women who are curious about womb wisdom, feminine embodiment, and cyclical living, especially if they are unsure where to begin. I am sharing how my own relationship with womb consciousness emerged organically, through lived experience rather than doctrine, and why it led me to begin hosting womb circles. This is not a teaching piece. It is a story of listening, transition, and choosing a new direction.
This past summer I attended a workshop in the mountains of Golden BC, that shifted the trajectory of how I see myself and my work in the world. It was unexpected, as these things often are. What was supposed to be a camping experience with some girlfriends at a festival, turned out to be monumental for me. In that workshop I was introduced to the wisdom of my womb by a teacher named Jane Hardwick Collings.
The universe proved once again that I won’t miss out on what’s meant for me, even though this is rarely obvious to me!
The 9 energy of 2025 has been inviting completions and graduations of all kinds so it’s been a year of ending cycles, interrupting patterns and allowing everything that’s unnecessary to be stripped away. It’s been difficult, enlightening and so freaking intense.
I’ve been listening all year even when I don’t feel like it. I’ve been doing my best to notice what needs to end and where possibilities exist for more spaciousness. And it’s working! I feel more courageous, more present and connected to myself, and more self expressed.
I didn’t realize how much power a woman’s womb holds until I heard Jane speak. I’ve been learning how to listen and reconnect to my own womb and its consciousness and wisdom. This practice has allowed me to hear my own body more accurately and to embrace living more cyclically and in a way that aligns with my energy patterns. It’s been revelatory to say the least.
My womb has been showing me how to slow down, how to trust myself more, how to be brave and how to create from the inside out, not from pressure or performance, but from presence. I’ve embraced rest and creativity over hustle and overriding my body’s own wisdom and capacity. My somatic and writing practices have been pivotal to this process.
This unfolding path of reconnecting to womb consciousness encompasses all other aspects of my work in energy healing, somatic support, self expression and deepens them in ways I’m only beginning to understand. It’s a direction I’ve felt deep in my bones (and my womb!) for months and I am saying Hell Yes! to now.
In a world that prizes doing over being, we’ve forgotten how to listen to the wisdom of our own bodies. I certainly forgot how to! Which is why I’m focusing in this direction moving forward.
Right now it looks like honouring my own practices and using my voice in brave ways (like singing at open mics and writing my first novel). I’ve also enrolled in Womb Medicine training starting in January 2026. Up until now, I’ve studied women’s health from the bioenergetic, somatic and archetypal perspectives, and I’m excited to deepen my understanding of sacred womb work with new mentors.
I now host ongoing womb circles for women who feel drawn to reconnect with their bodies, cycles, and creative wisdom in a grounded, respectful way. If you feel curious, you can learn more about upcoming circles at the button below.
If you’ve been feeling a pull to reconnect with your body and your own creative wisdom, this is your invitation to start listening.
Our wombs hold our answers.
And I’m learning how to listen.
Our world needs women to do this for themselves and each other and I’m starting with what I know and with the space I’ve created for more. Let’s do it!
