The brilliance of our unconscious mind and body relationship is that once it learns something we no longer need to think about how to do it, the motions become second nature. The same goes for thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. Do you remember what it was like learning to tie your shoes? Or learning to drive? Hard as hell! Right? But once you got it down you could do it without thinking.

Now in our 40s we’re so used to doing the same things over and over: the same routine, conversations with the same people, going to the same places, thinking the same thoughts that it can become very difficult to change something. The brilliance of our human design 

So what can we do now that we want a new career or relationship? Or a healthier body or to thrive in life instead of just going through the motions? In order to create change we need to start at the beginning and change how we think, feel and behave.

Unfortunately, this can feel very hard sometimes and at those moments we can begin to think “It’s not meant to be.”

But this is not the case. The universe would never send you a sign telling you not to do something that you desire for your highest good. Your resistance comes from your old habits that are now ingrained in your neurology and physiology and from old fears or old stories from your past.

When you encounter this resistance this is not a sign to stop. It’s a sign to keep going and use the tools that will help you – I share some in my video below. You can also ask for help from a professional healer or coach who can hold the space for you to create the change you want.
